About · 312 S Zion St, Lowell
A Lowell plumbing company that brings its own excavator.
Hansen Plumbing Pro is locally owned and operated. John Hansen runs it, the crew works out of the shop in Lowell, and the ground between your meter and your house is the part of the job we are proudest of.
Who shows up
Master Plumbers, with decades in Northwest Arkansas.
We are Master Plumbers, fully licensed, bonded and insured, and we follow Arkansas state plumbing codes on every job. We have worked this corner of the state for decades, which means we know what the red clay does to a buried line when the seasons turn.
John Hansen owns the company and is on the jobs. Customers have named Cody in recent reviews too, one saying he was “professional, efficient, and transparent” and another that he took the time to explain what was wrong with a faucet. Another wrote that “John and Cody came when they said they would.” That is the standard we hold ourselves to.
We work on all brands of plumbing equipment and fixtures. For new installs we typically use American Standard, Mansfield and Kohler.

In their words
“We like to dig.”
That is the line from our online ad, and a customer named Jude Paz quoted it back to us in December 2024: “When I first saw John's advertisement online, it had the quote ‘We like to dig’.” It is also a plain description of the business. When a water line fails in the yard, we do not hand the hard part to someone else. We open the ground ourselves.
Our excavator, backhoe and dump truck are ours, so the hole, the new line and the backfill all happen on one schedule with one crew.
Honest about the fix
He could have patched it. He replaced the line.
From the testimonials on Hansen's own site.
“Promptly the next morning he came rolling in with his backhoe and crew and began digging.”
Rick Simpson called about a yard line failure, and Hansen was on site within a couple of hours. The old line had been punctured in several places, and he wrote that “John could have just as easily repaired the first leaks we found setting us up for future service calls, but he did not.” The whole line was replaced, and the water was back on by the end of the day.

The shop and the trucks
What pulls into your driveway.
The van and the dump truck both carry the black Hansen decal and the number 236-1861. They leave from the shop on South Zion Street in Lowell, and they head out every day from 6 AM to 6 PM, with a 24/7 line for emergencies.
